The display is sunlight readable and NVG compatible and forms part of an Engine Monitoring System which meets full military avionics environmental requirements.
The display demonstrates advanced back lighting technology and conventional 7-segment displays within the same display package. In addition, the display unit incorporates both the display drivers and interface electronics which enable the new LED display to replace the legacy LCD display without changes to the customer interface.
This development extended PRP's capability to provide a complete aircraft fit display system, offering an elegant solution to demanding display requirements. The solution offers all the standard benefits of LED displays (high brightness, wide viewing angle and high reliability), coupled with increased display format flexibility and ease of use for the customer.
