Our customer was developing a high speed, high resolution LED print engine that required high performance LED chips to realise the system. PRP worked closely with them, developing a custom 192 element monolithic LED array module with integrated LED drivers.
PRP assembled 68 LED and driver modules together to produce a linear array. This assembly operation required extremely accurate alignment of the monolithic LEDs which utilised special techniques developed by PRP.
