Right Hand Glare Shield Displays

This project called for the development of three different displays that are fitted to the right hand glare shield of the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft. This display system operates in dual mode, providing flight information even when all the primary instrumentation has failed.

The customer required extended functionality, excellent EMC performance and reduced cost compared to other displays. PRP Optoelectronics developed the displays to schedule, specification and cost which resulted in PRP being awarded the tranche two contract to supply the aircraft displays.
