Customer Account Assistant – Full time

Reporting into the Operations Manager, you must possess excellent communication skills.  Experience in Sales Administration would be preferable in a manufacturing/production environment, as would a background in importing and exporting


Skills Profile

  • Must have excellent communication, co-ordination and organisational skills
  • Must have experience in one of the following fields; sales, manufacturing, production, administration
  • Importing and exporting background useful
  • Must be able to work as a team and as an individual
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines
  • Must be proactive, enthusiastic and loyal individual and process driven
  • Must be logical thinking and
  • Must have good knowledge of computers, Microsoft Excel, Word, MRP systems

Main Duties

  • First point of contact for all customers.
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with several departments across the company; sales, purchasing, accounts, production, engineering, quality, despatch.
  • Manage all customer queries, returns, invoicing queries, arrange meetings, arrange audits, status of orders, expediting orders.
  • Create quotes and sales orders for all customers. Providing information regarding pricing, lead time and T&C’s to the customer.
  • Invoice and prepare export documentation including export licence and commercial invoice for every despatch.
  • Apply for Export Licences on SPIRE (Export Government Organisation). Request end-user details from the customer.
  • Update and maintain export log and RMA log.
  • Run month end, create month end reports and distribute to the MD, FD and Operations Manager.

Supply Chain Purchasing Assistant – Full time

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, you must be a proactive, motivated individual who is either looking to commence your career in Purchasing and learn in a hands on environment or someone with relevant experience.

  • Excellent written, verbal, telephone manner

  • Computer Literate with experience of Excel
  • Good numerical/analytical skills

  • Understands and has experience building relationships

Main Duties

  • Raise PO based on MRP demand – consumables/direct material/stationary
  • Chase PO and late deliveries
  • Supplier negotiation/cost reduction
  • Import Log/ Customs Clearance
  • Process Engineering purchase request
  • Maintain correct data within MRP, stock prices, lead times etc
  • Filing and scanning, general Purchasing admin
  • Working to tight deadlines

Preferred Skills

  • MRP/ERP experience
  • Experience of Import/Export
  • Purchasing background
